Safety in Stöten
Simply put, 'skiing in Sweden is what Volvo is to motoring'. The level of safety and commitment to welfare and wellbeing in Scandinavian resorts is paramount. They have some of the highest safety standards in the world - which is evident from the impeccably maintained equipment and facilities to the expertise and class of their ski schools.
Scandinavian's are known for having excellent English language skills which is very convenient when travelling to a foreign destination with students. They are also, as the saying goes, "born with skis on their feet", meaning that the skiers in the area (which are often native in most Scandinavian resorts) are competent and very self aware when on the slopes!
Skiing in Stöten
We only work with the very best instructors across Scandinavia. Our exclusive ski schools are designed by us to fit your group needs and are taught by experienced and trusted instructors. The fluent English speaking instructors we work with in Stöten are renowned for transferring their ski passion, skill and knowledge to students.
There are slopes for all abilities in Stöten - regardless of age and previous skiing experience. There is a total of 49 slopes, ranging from wide green runs for beginners taking their very first turns on skis, to challenging black runs which cater for the more experienced skier.
Resort Activities
Away from skiing, there is plenty to keep everyone entertained - from bowling, swimming, and gaming to resort activities which include husky sledding and snowmobiling!
Some cross-country tracks are lit at night for a magical Nordic evening ski experience.
Example Itinerary
Day 1
Our direct skiScandinavia flight will depart mid-morning from London Gatwick. Upon arrival at Scandinavian Mountains Airport you will be picked up by our private transfer and head to resort. The transfer only takes only 25 minutes to Stöten, where you will check in to your rooms and enjoy orientation of the resort.
Ski fit will be done in preparation for lessons to start on Sunday morning.
Day 2-7
After a hearty breakfast at the Ski Hotel, it’s time to head out onto the slopes for ski school! Groups will be a maximum of 8 students to 1 instructor, and the morning session will be for 3 hours.
A hearty lunch will be prepared back at the hotel so students can fuel up for their afternoon lesson! The afternoon lesson is for another 3 hours, after which there’s some downtime for relaxing or aprés resort activities! Resort activities can be tailored to your group - options for husky sledding and snowmobiling (to name just a few), can be arranged at an extra cost. Activities within in the package include swimming, bowling, sledging, bushcraft, and access to the games room.
The evening meal will again be served at the Ski Hotel and offers the opportunity for the group to bond and recharge after a busy day.
Day 8
There will be some free time in the morning before departing the hotel on our private transfer back to Scandinavian Mountains Airport. The flight will leave for London Gatwick mid-afternoon.
