All accommodation is ski-in/ski-out, and direct access to the two 8-seater express lifts offers the unique ability to reach all of Hundfjället's ski slopes right from your doorstep!
Just a short distance from Hundfjället, the resort of Tandådalen is conveniently reachable by a simple drag lift - the two interconnecting resorts have a combined 48 slopes to keep you busy! For those of you looking for something even more challenging, on the west face of the mountain in Hundfjället you will find one of Sweden’s steepest slopes, "Väggen" (AKA The Wall!).

SkiStar Lodge Hundfjället is a brand new state-of-the-art hotel with apartments, situated in the centre of the resort. Travelling as a family is made easy with the convenience of an incredibly short transfer of just 10 minutes from Scandinavian Mountains Airport, coupled with ski-in/ski-out luxury and comfort at the Lodge.
There are two restaurants located in the Lodge which offer a selection of family-style dining and international cuisine. For après ski, the stylish lounge bar welcomes you with a relaxed family friendly vibe.

Ski instructors in Sweden are passionate about skiing and fluent in English, allowing them to communicate the small details - and even more importantly, the joy of skiing! Our local ski school partner offers group and private lessons.
The Right Slopes for Me?
Beginner
Good: Hundfjället is very family orientated with good nursery slopes and a great selection of green runs.
Intermediate
Excellent: The uncrowded slopes are a great place to improve and practice with lots of wide red and blue runs across both resorts.
Advanced
Excellent: The selection of advanced runs are perfect for newly advanced skiers with a choice of fairly short but steep black runs in Tandådalen and longer, more challenging runs in Hundfjället.
Snowboarding
Good: The snow park in Tandådalen is one of the largest in Sälen and has everything you’ll need to work on your freestyle skills - from red lines with tough racks, boxes, jumps and kickers to the slightly simpler elements that are categorised as blue and green.
Cross-Country
Good: 19 kilometres of pristine cross-country trails are available across the two resorts.

For holidays booked with scheduled flights arriving at Scandinavian Mountains Airport, a shared 10 minute coach transfer will be included to Hundfjället ski resort. The option to upgrade to a private transfer or car hire can be chosen instead at time of booking.
For holidays booked with scheduled flights from other airports in the UK and Ireland to Oslo Gardermoen, car hire is included in your package. The journey to Hundfjället ski resort is approximately 2 hours 50 minutes. The option to upgrade to a private transfer can be chosen instead at time of booking.
